Whats news today?

I was walking to the market some weeks back and saw a small girl of say 6 or 7 or more with a small piece of torn and soiled newspaper in her hand ;most probably had been used to wrap something...what was remarkable was she was trying to read from that paper..i could see her tracing the alphabets with her fingers and reciting them aloud to form words.

I actually kept turning back to look at her. The concentration on her face and the interest with which she was trying to figure the words out!

Wondered why she was not at school.. Maybe she was better off discovering the joys of reading on her own and not letting studies ruin her education even if it was only for a while,only for a moment.

How Ironic.

How ironic is it to see a small child sweeping the premises of a school when the school children are walking in?

How ironic it is to see houses flooded with water but with no water to drink?

How ironic it is to see garbage dumped right under a sign that says "do not litter"?

And how ironic is it to fall in love with someone even when you know it can never be forever?

Life...never fails to amaze me.How ironic it is when i know things are not how they should be,but still pretend everything is alright.
