Mr and Mr X !!
One thing that really intrigues me is same sex relationships.i mean i can never quite figure out how a girl can find another girl (or a guy and another guy) sexually attractive!!!
Its not something that disgusts me but its something that i am really curious about.
I mean all the debate about whether same sex marriages should be allowed and whether they are legal is in my opinion , a lot of political gobbledygook!!
A few years ago i was sitting along with my friends and we had an intense discussion on this(this was at around 3 am) and i said something like "animals dont do it,so its not natural!!"
That premise i now agree is fallacious because firstly i have no theory to prove the same and also because we do a lot of other things that animals dont indulge in.So do we stop doing them??i mean would we stop wearing clothes just because animals dont!!(This is not considering the scraps of clothing that are the current rage)On the contrary,its quite natural to see our pets being made to wear sweaters and scarves and even socks when its cold!!so are we de-naturalising them???
Gettin back to the topic, the basic question that almost anyone who is in favor of same sex relationships says is "who the hell are we to question anybody??" Unfortunately the way society works is mostly contrary to the law of freedom of expression and choice guaranteed to us by the constitution.But that not what i am talking about...I have come to know that in these kind of relationships,there is one who is more aggresive(the male) and the one who is submissive(the female).So even in a lesbian or gay relationship,the male-female relation comes through.
That bothers me...i mean why is it that these ppl find the masculine side of a female,or feminine side of a male attractive when thats how usual relations work??Then again maculinity has nothing to do with being male and the same holds true for feminity.
I know i cant imagine myself getting into lovers talk with a girl(the thought makes me laugh actually) but that doesnt prevent me from leching at women all the time!!!i mean a beautiful women is for everyone to see and admire.Men lech at women and women lech at women too.I dont think men lech at men,never heard of it.if they do,then thrs definitely more than meets the eye(and thats a male viewpoint!!)
But that bring me to another point...if we women lech at women and that is something all women would agree to indulge in ,is it because deep down ,we all are lesbians???
omigosh!!or os it because we lech at women because we are all basically bitchy and we cant let go of an oppurtunity to find fault with a good looking woman(the green eyed monster lurking inside needs a way out).Biologically,the male-female relationship seems to be the way to go,but with the advancements in science, we have succeeded in being two steps ahead of the natural way of things!!
There might come a time when all over the world ppl may introduce a couple as,"this is Mr X and this is his wife,Mr Y!!" For the sceptic that i am,i dont mind saying cheers to that!!

Sexual attractions..now that is one difficult thing to explain.
I think sexual attraction has as much to do with the mind as it has to do with the body.
It is interesting to read thoughts about one woman leching at another,is it raw admiration,is it pangs of jealousy or is it nothing but sheer curiosity? I feel any kind of emotion is a seed to a relationship , be it good or bad. Maybe given a choice,and may be social acceptance, a woman would prefer another woman to get into a relationship with.
I've seen women holding hands as they walk, hugging each other, admiring each others physical beauty,even kissing each other in moments of extreme happiness, but that doesnt indicate any sexual orientation, or does it?
May be it is just the comfort level that two people share. Some people get into it for finding their emotional balance, others out of the fact that nature created them differently. Perhaps they were meant to be like that.
I do not know how such people would derive sexual satisfaction from each other, but then i believe even dipping their hands in sacks of grains provides a sense of pleasure to some.
I believe in a life full of choices, this is just another one to make. But then i guess nature has shown us the right way , its upto us to embrace it or go against it.
As far as about males being aggressive and females being submissive, it is the norm that the society at large has decided to follow. But that doesnt necessarily mean it is true. Scientifically, it is proven that women have greater sexual drives than most men do,they long for things most men dont think of. That puts them on a more aggressive level than men, doesnt it? Most men like being dominated by women in bed, does that mean they're submissive? Its just a matter of personal idiosyncrancies. Sex is perhaps the greatest pleasure nature has allowed us to have, a pinnacle of love for some, nothing but physical gratification for others.. and in my personal opinion to enjoy both, we must choose the path nature has shown us... all we need to do is choose and make the right choice.
